Cloud Dancer – 2023
In 2022 we organised the first concert in our garden to raise money for Parkinson’s UK. It was a great success and so we organised a second one in 2023. Some of my friends got together to create a Jazz band for the occasion. This gave me the idea of having a go at writing some Jazz. So the song ‘Cloud Dancer’ is my first song, seen in this video being performed by Blue Monday. (The band line-up at this time was Bruno Gran on Saxophone, Gill Kirkwood on vocals and tambourine, and Martin Brasier on the keyboard.) Martin Brasier then came up with a rather excellent bridge for the song, so it now has two writers.
