The Day After You’re Gone – Easter 2024

The song ‘The Day After You’re Gone’ (below) is the opening song for what I anticipate being my last film. The film is called “The Day After You’re Gone” and in the film I imagine some of the conversations the disciples may have had on the Saturday after the first Good Friday, and before Jesus has risen on Easter Sunday. The musicians on this song are Simon Cotton and me, with Mike Cole singing.

The song ‘Jesus Lives’ (below) is the closing song for the film “The Day After You’re Gone”. At the end of the film, three of the women leave early in the morning to go and anoint Jesus’ body. So this song is my way of saying with those women “Jesus is alive”! The musicians on this song are Ryan Mellor, Simon Cotton, Martin Dove and me. The cameraman was Bernard Whelan.
